[PS] Map Making for Fictions

Just to clarify, I did not make this tutorial I simply used it myself for my own fiction.

The above tutorial is essentially a .pdf which includes a tutorial on making quite excellent maps in photoshop. While I wouldn't call it hard, it wouldn't be for absolute beginners either.
Here's an example of a map, that the creator made using this tutorial.

Another nifty tool is http://inkarnate.com
While it's still in beta, I got access to the map builder in about a day. It's a very easy system to use, and I made this in about 30-40 mins:

I've downloaded the tutorial. Maybe I'll be able to use it. And the inkarnate tool looks great. I've signed up for beta access. Thanks.

It's not a game though, it's an web application RPG tool set. So the character creation you're seeing, is basically to create characters for tabletop RPGs.

Holy molly! This is great! I think I'll play around with this to get a better grasp of how far my characters are traveling and stuff. I have a pretty good idea of where my characters are, but it's nice to see it all laid out on a simple map for readers.
