CC3 is just a bit expensive for amateur fiction writers, with no aspirations in writing - Also the tool seems somewhat confusing to use. I can't deny the map outcomes though, some of them look gorgeous.

I don't really use maps in fictions, more when I'm roleplaying, but when I do I tend to use Inkarnate. I don't know any tutorials for it though.
