I have several ideas for fictions, I just don't have confidence in my writing skills sadly. Like a fiction where a dungeon core forms in an abandoned building in the middle of no where, and decides to make a city. Or what if a dungeon mob becomes sentient, and its interactions with the dungeon and adventurers. Maybe I'll take some writing classes and give them a try.

you could start writing and keep it around, find a proofreader and send it to him when you think it is good and long enough. it will help. if you do not start, the story will only stay in your head. i never had much writing classes. in fact i flunk them but just write. some one will help if your story is good enough to time. and post a link to it here if you do. as long as it is dungeon themed we are more than happy to help.

I would love to join seeing how my very first story ever is a dungeon one ^_^

I do enjoy the management aspect and just the reactions of people entering the dungeon. Idk why there aren't any good  dungeon based game as in you play the dungeon. Few I can find are quite old and out dated.

My advice is just to write. Its very similar to programing where it seem really intimating because you feel like you know nothing so you keep putting it off thinking I'll do it when X or Y happens. That's really just you giving yourself an excuse to not write. You have an idea? Write it down. It doesn't need to be perfect or even good but the fact that you're writing it down is what's going to help you to improve. Share the story or if you don't feel that confident find people here to share it with and get feedback. Improve and repeat ^_^ You'll never get anywhere unless you take the steps forward yourself! Also don't be afraid of failing, its ok to have a million bad stories post if that means your improving! Don't be afraid of letting people read your work. I mean don't be too stressed out not like your life is depending on it... although the character's in your story's life is depending on it and there are theories where all stories are really stuff happening in another universe so you stopping could be killing off a lot of real people in another universe.... =X

I agree, I had a story idea in my head for some 8 years now that I always tell myself I'm going to write someday and it will be amazing but not now coz X and Y reasons. Now I finally decide to give it a go I realize I have no way of putting that story to words coz I never written anything before XD And so my current novel was born =X
Ever wonder what happens if a cultivator get stuck in a medieval fantasy setting? What if he also happens to enter the new world as a dungeon? If that interests you then please check out my novel "Cultivating...Dungeon?"

Kinda, the most notable one is overlord series and i think that took inspiration from dungeon keeper series but that's really old. Evil genius is one too but instead its like super vilian hide out. Dungeons is another one that came out in 2011 but I felt it was a bit werid. In the end though none of them was what I hope it be like.

@VoidPath I'm personally happy rrl exist because its hard to find a place to put these things specially if its your first work. Yo have an environment like this is amazing =D
