Hey guys, I was wondering if someone would be willing to make an improved version of the cover art I have for my novel. The left side of it would be a chubby otaku with glasses, and the right side of it would a really hot guy with luscious hair and a muscular body. On the bottom would be a white strip with the word "Greed" in Japanese in the middle (as seen in the link below). Also, the story is based off of the concept of Re:monster (as if that somehow influences your decision to help XD).  Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers!

I made the text by hand since SAI has no text tool and i am not japanese so tell me if you need it changed. also this is just a sketch so of course i will improve it when you've given me feedback

Wow! First thing, I would like to thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to draw this : ) I'll be sure to give you some rep! I'll also credit you in the description of the book. I think it looks great so far. I only have a few comments to add. The guy on the left is perfect. Typical otaku with glasses and a chubby body, perfect! On the right, what I wanted to do is show how the character would end up looking like. *Spoiler* he ends up becoming the most handsome man in that world through something that happens in the plot. In terms of the body, I think it's great! However, I was wondering if you could make the hair more elegant-looking and try to match it with the hair that I will post as an image. You can modify it accordingly to the facial structure you think would be most handsome with that hair. I think that the face you drew is fine as long as it accentuates strength and elegance. The better looking he is, the more the viewers would be able to see how different he becomes. The last thing I ask of you is to put the sword that I post as an image in the middle of the cover. Although I tried coloring it in the example I posted, I think it's better to keep it black and white. Hopefully this isn’t too bossy and doesn’t sound like too much to ask XD I linked the images below.

To summarize what I said: changed hair style (to look more handsome), keep the colour the same, add a sword to the middle of the cover (in-between the characters).

P.S. if you can, the pixels are 514X512. When trying to fit the requirement of 400x600, the photo might get somewhat distorted. If you can, please take that into consideration when drawing their sizes. That being said, if you can't no problem! I'll just modify their dimension on paint and hope for the best XD

i can easily modify their dimensions and i'll try to make every change that you asked for though it might take maybe a day or 2 to come up with a new sketch and then maybe 3 days to finalize it all maybe more but since you did say that you have a lot of time then i'll try my best and go for quality not time :)

I really like the drawing! However, there's only one thing. I'm sorry for being so persistent, but I really like the first cover that you made. Also, the drawing you made is colored and I think that it'd be better to keep the cover black and white. That way, I can keep the readers guessing about the other details of how he looks. Pretty much the only thing that I felt should be changed from the original cover you sent me was the hair-style and the sword in the middle. By the way, please forgive me for being so picky; i'm kind of a perfectionist. The hair you made is nice, but now he looks too weak and feminine (even with all that muscle). Here's what I feel like should be done (sorry for being so picky): I think that removing the hair on the sides from the original would be best (removing the hair beside the ears would be best) because it makes the main character look less like a douche. Then, to work up from there, any sort of handsome-looking hair-style would be best. He needs to still look powerful and intimidating. I thought the hairstyle I sent you would work but it seems like it's not. I think it's sort of trial and error.

Could you draw this sort of Armour on him? I feel like the bare chest is probably what ruins the initimidation. It could be assumed from the Armour that he's strong and it makes up for the innocence of the face. Would you be able to add this for his form on the right? Just the Armour below the face. Would that be fine? And thanks once again!

Recap: The armour I sent to replace his bear chest on the new cover (replacing the blue eye orbs on it with a red colour) and also, can you add a cheeky smirk/grin on his face (sort of showing that he knows what he's doing). Moving the word greed from the bottom of the cover to the top to fill the void space (on the top 3/4 of the page) and putting a little white rectangular box behind it to allow people to see the wording of the title (greed). Other than that I think we should leave the cover as is! It looks amazing : ) Hopefully this is possible!

Yea, I just made my previous cover for the sake of giving people something to look at. I really like the new cover you made! I think that this should be the final copy : ) Now, we just need the dimensions to be 400x600 and it's good to go! Thank you very much btw : )

Hey! I think your cover looks super cool : ) Unfortunately, I already made a promise with herbin about posting the cover he sent me, and we've been working back and forth on the final touches. That being said, the cover you made is awesome and i'll definitely keep it in my back-pocket for the future!
