April Fool's Day Serial Swap

#1
I'm Jim Zoetewey, a forum moderator over at Web Fiction Guide (a directory of web serials) as well as a RRL author. At Web Fiction Guide we've got a semi-annual tradition of doing an April Fool's Serial Swap. Basically what happens is that a bunch of people sign up and everyone's given a serial to write a prank post for. The goal is to write something that will fool the readers of that serial into thinking it's a real entry--at least for a while.

I generally try to make it feel normal at first and then go increasingly and horribly wrong as it continues.

The secondary goal (and the main one for some people) is that new readers will be exposed to your work, and that's not a bad thing. There's always a link to a list of all the serials and all the stories at the end of each entry (and, of course, a link to yours on the one you write).

Sign up here if it sounds fun. I've generally enjoyed it:
