If it's long stories *of any kind* you're after, you can sort your searches by page numbers. Given the proclivity of people on this site to abandon their novels once they get bored of them, though, you'd be hard pressed to find anything TRULY long.

Going by pages instead of chapters is also a better idea. Number of chapters says nothing about the actual length, whereas pages is a fixed value.

SEARCH » ADVANCE SEARCH » SCROLL DOWN TILL YOU SEE THE "ORDER BY" » CHANGE "POPULARITY" TO "NUMBER OF PAGES" » CLICK SEARCH » VOILA!!! FOUND WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR. If it have 3-4 digit pages im pretty sure thats long. Just helping hope your not offended or anything. ^_^

I have one running that is over 40, only 28 are posted as of right now but the total is far over 40 chapters with around 13 to 20 pages per chapter, Story is The Chosen: Colossus of Evil

Mine is rather long. Currently finishing up the fourth book in my series clocking in at over 600K words total so far with three additional spin-off tales.
