Im looking for a good read where every human (or other beings) have get 1 single unique power with a MALE MC. It can be maybe an affinity towards an element or a superpower of some sort a good example would be like Boku no Hero Academia (if you take away the modern setting). The setting I prefer is either:
1. MC is summoned to a fantasy world in some way and gains a power.
2. Apocalyptic setting where all/some humans gain a single power.
The MC doesnt need to just have that single power in his disposal, but that it influences his fighting prowess.
I´m a bit tired of MCs who suddenly gains all affinities, can use all sorts of magic, a plethora of different weapons or have the ability to steal/acquire others powers (I really dislike this one). With 10000 different powers they are either forgotten or it is just too much for the reader to remember.
Some examples:
Spectral Regalia (The MC is a good example, gains the ability to manipulate dark matter)
Gods Trials (Exactly like this, everyone gets a single power/affinity, MC gains power over Chaos)
Exponential Mana Regeneration (Like Gods trials, everyone has a unique power)
Bloody New World
Fayde Of the Void (MC has void powers)
The Adventures of a Unique Snowflake (MC gains the power of Evolution)

I would also prefer if the novel is ongoing and not dropped with like 5 chapters.

Not looking for a female MC. Apocalyptic and summoning stories are just the ones I tend to enjoy the most, but other settings are also fine ^^

Going to self promote a bit but my story is similar to what you're looking for. Apocalyptic setting, male mc, and a limited amount of powers.
