RoyalRoadLegends Proofreading Assistant - Chrome Extension
#1
For a long time I was lamenting the fact that, when I came across some mistakes while reading a chapter I rarely had the patience to stop reading and add it to my comment (and format it so it's easy to see the suggested edits), or come back to them after I finished the whole chapter.
So I made a chrome extension that alleviates that problem by allowing the reader to select the text around the error and create a formatted edit suggestion with the help of an in-page popup. That way you don't have bother with scrolling back and forth and formatting your edit suggestions.
I tried my best, but there may still be errors or unintuitive ways of working, so any feedback is welcome as I try to improve it.
Here is the extension in question.
Edit:
Also, I forgot to ask if I'm even allowed to publish this extension. If this is not allowed (I looked, but didn't find a rule against it.) then I will take it down.

Interesting Idea. Do both author and user need to have this installed?
