Reviews and Tips for a LitRPG-ish fantasy

#1
Hello,

Been thinking of writing this for a while and was looking for some helpful reviews or tips as I go along. Not a traditional litRPG in the sense that it is set in its own world (not a game world) and does not include any characters transported from our own. It is a fantasy world where people live using an RPG-like style system of magic.

Let me know your thoughts so far! Thanks!

Re-read what you write, then re-read it again. Oftentimes you will feel an irresistible urge to put your computer through a woodchipper because absolutely everything will look like a pile of dung, especially after you let it fester for a day before publishing.

That feeling? It's the call of the editor, it is your closest friend and most bitter enemy. Your writer side drafts your story, your editor side puts it through a crucible and refinery cycle.

Most importantly, don't beat yourself up over your content enough to make you incapable of writing. If you can't write, you can't improve. Persistence, not talent, is the key.
