A guy is raising his orphaned younger siblings. They're poor and living in the country. I want to say he's an engineer or technician of some kind, genius type, but he pays the bills by doing odd jobs. While playing the vrmmo game he builds space ships and discovers he can also build them in reality. The advance tech in game is real and can be recreated in reality.

Story has to have been written at least more than 2 years ago....I think.
