Nothing is unique, other than the truly insane of course. Just make sure that you enjoy yourself and know your reason for writing. If you keep sight of that, despite whatever may come, I think you'll have a moderately easier time writing.

I might suggest you can use your 1st story as a way of learning how to write a story first. Then have your second story be a good story. It doesn't mean that your 1st story can't or won't be a good story, but sometimes the unknowns in our minds get worked out as experience drips in. And the experience doesn't all come from writing but on the "Decision Trees" that you are doing right now. It's those parts that get tricky.

Like do I go after this flame reviewer who didn't even read the story?

What do I do when I want one thing, and the readers want something else?

How do I know if I'm gaining or losing interest?

What if something in the story I'm putting or flirting around might be considered scandalous?

What kinds of things turn off readers' interest?

How do I find someone to bounce my ideas off to gauge from two or three people how the readership overall might react?

Those are some types of things that come up. Feel free to message me or one of the others, thanks.

Write something you would enjoy writing as it will keep you writing. So many story has been written so a truly unique one is almost impossible and to be honest at this point you're likely picking bad things to make it unique. Focus on what you enjoy and make it a good story.

It can be the most common fantasy story but if you write it well people will still like it.
Ever wonder what happens if a cultivator get stuck in a medieval fantasy setting? What if he also happens to enter the new world as a dungeon? If that interests you then please check out my novel "Cultivating...Dungeon?"
