Since you appear to have some free time I will shamelessly recommend my own novel to read :) Do read the warnings below the introduction on the main page though; if you don't like those things, then I do not recommend reading, lol.
Tale of Vjaira - My main work that I am slowly editing and posting on RRL, an amazing adventure already spanning over 100 chapters (well over 1500 pages) with hundreds more to come.

A Child Blessed by The Heavens - My fanfic for the ISSTH contest. Not in the top 5, but got honorable mentions, yay~ Check it out if you are bored!

'Faze' pid='824218' dateline='1495079637' Wrote: Yeah just like the title, I scared being bashed cold by an unfair reviewer.

I avoid story with
- High profanity
- Angry vengeful MC
- 1st person perspective only story (feel like monologs to me)
- Same obvious repeated premises.

I like
- New premise, mechanics, and perspective
- a play with both 3rd and 1st person writing
- bed time story (wink wink nudge nudge)

I'd be happy for a review on my story. I'll be updating on Monday and Thursday, and the content is pretty tame, so no bed time story. It would be great to hear your thoughts on the story thus far.

You can check mine out if you want.

Title - The Undying Prince

Synopsis – It has been centuries since the Sorcerer-Kings of old destroyed the world in their mad race to create ever-more-horrifying creatures. Now in the Fourth Age, known as the Age of Monsters, humanity clings to life by its fingernails, hidden behind walled cities and towns.

On the island of Daði, four kingdoms exist in an uneasy truce, ruled and protected by Cultivators with the power to break the Laws of Nature. There, Prince Erik, an unranked Cultivator and the descendant of a sorcerer’s experiment, is attacked by an ancient predator, a beast birthed in the molten core of a long dead world. And as the abomination devours him, something monstrous awakens within his blood.

Genre - Dark Fantasy, Xianxia, Epic

Lenth - 493 pages long.

I do want to say that my story is quite long, span across a few volumes (first volume is more than 100 chapters, each 3K-4K words). It may seem boring at first but it gets better as it goes on. I like reading comments and reviews so please don't hesitate! The second volume is ongoing at the link below just in case you want to check it out. Though I do recommend to read the first one first.

I'd be grateful for a review on my story. It's not a long one but does have profanity (not a ton) and gore.

I'd be interested in your thoughts.

Oh boy!  I can't say no to an offer like this!

You sound like you'll be happy to know my story has:
-Third person limited perspective.
-A relatively optimistic main character
-Minimal foul language
-An original fantasy world with a firmly-defined magic system

No "bedtime stories" yet, but the night is young.  Who knows what ships will sail?  I'm also a huge fan of trope reversal, which is fairly prevalent in how I assign powers.  One of the major villains of the story exclusively uses healing magic, for example.

If you're interested, please check it out and leave an honest review!
