Hi I am new to RR, is there some way I can change my username?

(Much easier)

I'm unsure why this thread is always the result when people Google search this issue, but the above response is the easy way to do this now without the need for staff intervention.

I'll paste the specifics below then lock this thread.


You can change your username by going to the user settings (drop-down menu when you click your profile image at the top right corner).
There go to the [Profile Information] tab, and then [edit] your username.

Alternatively, you can skip right ahead and go to https://www.royalroad.com/account/changeusername 

Please be aware that:
You can change your username only once every six months.
You can't choose a username already in use by a user.
You can't select a username that was used in the past 12 months.
