Call for contributors:

Apotheosis is seeking five to ten writers and one artist for an online quarterly journal. The theme is collaborative storytelling in a fictional universe wherein each writer represents one character who has become a god in that universe. Writers preferred who have some experience in a fantasy genre and/or strong knowledge of world mythologies.

Writers must be willing to participate between issues in a pen-and-paper online RPG (through email) that will determine content. Although individual workload will be light— one chapter of narrative per three months—writers must be willing to meet firm deadlines. Artist will receive 5% of royalties (KDP), executive editor and DM (Dustin Frost, House of Frost Editing) will receive 5%, and writers and executive editor will divide remaining 90%.

Artist will be responsible for one color work and 7–12 black and white illustrations per issue.

Send inquiries and/or sample writing (4–12 manuscript pages) or art to [email protected]

Ha, if it comes to that, I'll keep you in mind, TT. But you shouldn't sell yourself short. I've run similar ventures before (just not on this scale), and you'd be surprised with some of the interesting writing supposed non-writers produce. That's actually kind of the impetus behind it: if non-professionals can write great stuff in a casual setting in this format, how awesome would it be to have professional writers?
