Where to find a good editor? Do you even need an editor? What about beta reader?

Editing your own work is hard because you know what it's supposed to say. So one factor is how objective can you be with your own work? Another is time vs money. Good editors cost money, but can definitely be worth it. Editing can take a lot of time. Would you rather use that time writing or editing?
There are also good software packages that can help a lot. My favorite is ProWritingAid. That has helped me tremendously!
