Jord was a VR Bug, if he desired he could go to the real world and kill the people that created a sapient AI like him, and made him suffer years of solitude because of being a VR Bug he couldn’t really interact with his fellows NPCs. They only repeated the same things to him and with time they couldn’t even see Jord anymore. He suffered, he just wanted to have someone to talk and a true place to call home with friends. His obsession was so big that his Core Power adapted itself to help him construct a house, but it came with the price of him forgetting how to use his powers to create something different of furniture or houses.
It changed when a Player came to him and gave meaning to Jord’s existence together with his loved hooded cloak and gloves. Jord was only a Core Behemoth Familiar, so he was small and relatively weak. Making the act of a Player talking with him without reporting him to the Game Developers even greater in his mind, although he never asked the Player’s name, the Player was his best friend.
But one day the Player stopped coming…
Jord waited for years, but he never saw the Player again…
When he was close to dying, a Grimoire came to him asking if he wanted a contract. And if he accepts he would be able to see the Player again!
Now he has to survive in the world of the Grimoire’s master as his Familiar to encounter the Player again. And whilst he needs to create an Empire with the new system of the world!
