Reverse LitRPG books

#1
Oke Cokey, a little  mentally jaded with writing my book at this point, so I’m just throwing this one out there, just for the fun.

Has anyone written a LitRPG book where the main character starts in a fantasy world, but with magical assistance plays in a virtual world called Earth ? You know, sort of in reverse, where we are the game, and the  fantasy realm is the real one ? Where the MC must learn to adapt and succeed in a technical society, where there is no magic like in his real world.

I haven't read one but I certainly would!

Would there be a game interface in the real world?

+1 "Working for the Man" You have slaved away for countless hours while your social life has gone to shit. You feel 10% less horrible when your friends forget to invite you out for a night on the town.

The first book I can think of would be "the trapped mind project".

plot: The Jukal Empire’s fleets can’t keep back the aggressive species. An idea is fielded, create Emerilia, a world of magic, Dwarves, Elves and fantasy characters.

They can grow cycles of human Players, conditioned in a simulation of Earth to make them want to play Emerilia. The humans were a mighty foe for the Jukal Empire, but with their inhibitions gone and the morality of a game never in question, they can hold back the tide of the Aggressive species while calling it fun.

What's the best way to control slaves? Make them think that they're free.

This writer's got something that's at least perpendicular to your idea and looks to be heading in that direction.

Basic plot? Evil wizard possesses the barbarian who was about to kill him, and is now finding out that he is (was?) an NPC villain in an MMORPG. Which is pretty much the beginning of the story.

Book two is about the MMO player that once had that body/character trying to get it back.

Filled with Sierra Lee's usual meta-humor. She mostly does lewd games, though I don't know why. She's not good at writing smut, but is great at creating interesting stories, the porn stuff actually holds her back.

But that doesn't matter... the novels are clean. Also, free, unless you want a physical copy. She charges for those.
