Anyone can write, but can you tell a story?

Everyone's writing style varies because everyone is different. That also goes to readers. My advice is to write at a pace you can keep up with, be it 1k/day, or 1k/week as long as you persist to write and tell the story you want to tell.

As for light novels, the reason they are called so is that the amount of content is 'light' and your target audience are readers already familiar with manga/anime. With this type of format in mind, I would go for constant updates with chapters around 1k-2k words. Writing style... should be consistent. Usually, light novels focus on a singular character. So a first-person perspective is more commonly used.
