This might be considered a stupid question but is Grimdark just a tag describing a story that's both grim and dark?

Grimdark is usually used for markedly dark, amoral and grim stories, usually fantasy or sci-fi. It could also imply the fiction to be violent and realistic.

Kinda afaik it's used to descripe a dystopic story with no morals. Where most of the time the characters don't act honorable and do dispeakable things...
